Countless biomes reflected in the young siberian's blue orbs as he began his trek up the stone stairs. Not long ago he would have struggled to make his way over each ledge, but he'd grown a lot in the short four months he'd spent on the planet. He could tell he was nearing BlizzardClan from the scent that reached his keen nostrils. The fluffy brown and white male didn't feel too nervous - just relieved that he'd found his new home.

"Hello?" He greeted the unknown as he stumbled over the last step. If it was cold, he couldn't tell thanks to his unusually thick coat, something that popped up in huskies every once in awhile.

Not that being alone wasn't okay sometimes, just not all of the time.

He managed a grin, though he couldn't turn to everyone at once so his head sort of darted around in a confused manner. "Hi, everyone. I'm Orionpup. You know, like the constellation... yeah. I'm joining, if that's okay."

It seemed no one was hurt, that was good... Orionpup didn't really like seeing things in pain. It was true pain existed for a reason, but it just didn't seem fair.

To his relief, instead of a gruesome scene he was greeted by a small pile of peeping blobs.

He turned his attention to the golden pup who had greeted him again. The first time he hadn't paid her much notice... everyone's voices seemed to blend together. But now, he learned that her name was Driftingpup.

"Oh, hi! Driftingpup."

Okay, everyone's said hi a thousand times now - you won't learn anything about anyone by greeting them over and over and not asking any questions.

"What's up? How do you like it here?" Well, yes, she probably did like it here - she lived here after all... if she didn't, she would leave, right?

She was seemingly asleep... so he didn't want to disturb her, but she didn't look like she was doing too great either - she was squirming a lot and mumbling.

"You seem pretty sick... why don't you get some medicine? Or at least have someone find something to keep you warm." He suggested, though she may not have heard him since she was sleeping, kind of. If she didn't answer him, that was okay. She probably needed rest.

"That's true, about the birds and the sky being 'up'... but no, I didn't mean it literally." He explained with an amused smile. "I meant more like 'what's going on?' If that makes sense."

"Thanks, Kingdompaw." He added in response to the cheerful BlizzardClanner, though he couldn't figure out why Kingdompaw was giving Driftingpup such a strange look. Hmm.

Turning from Kingdompaw to the awkward golden pup once again, Orionpup nodded. "Hopefully I'll like it too then!" He felt a little unsure of what to say, but hoped that would be sufficient. Maybe she didn't really want to talk to him, and was just saying hello to be nice...? Oh well, like that one girl had said earlier, everyone did seem accepting and nice.

The husky pup quickly moved out of the medic's way, though he continued to watch from further away to see how he was going to help the sick jaguar. Hopefully she would be okay - she seemed really sick. Sicker than Orionpup had ever been... in fact, in his short life so far, he hadn't caught anything. He hadn't touched her though, so he would probably be okay.

With so many biomes, you could practically enjoy any weather you wanted to whenever you wanted to, no matter what season it was actually supposed to be. That was the nice thing about BlizzardClan. But Orionpup liked to see the leaves fall and crunch them beneath his paws, anyway. He felt perfectly comfortable in the chilly weather with his thick fur.

Autumn nights are so nice. He thought to himself, the grass soothingly cool on his pads. He didn't really mind being alone, but he didn't mind being not alone either. If you were alone you could think, and if you were with others you could share your thoughts. Each had their pros and cons.

"I guess this is one of those silly meet and greet things," he huffed with a slight smile, plopping down at the top of a hill. "What's everyone's favorite constellation? I was named after Orion, the hunter, but I'm not sure that it's my favorite, or that I even have a favorite." The husky shrugged, slipping into a laying position on the ground.

Orionpup had overhead what had happened. Driftingpup had a nightmare. Everyone had nightmares, but that never made them any less terrifying.

"Sometimes they feel so real... But it's such a relief to wake up and realize... you know, it was all just a dream." Nightmares always seemed to melt away as the day went on. At first, everything's so vivid, but as the day goes on the details fade. But sometimes the real nightmares weren't what haunted your dreams. They weren't things you could wake up from. They would follow you, and eat you just like the maggots writhing in the puppy in Driftingpup's dream.

Shaking his coat as if it would shake the memories from his head, he gave an unsure smile.

Orion liked stars. They were so out of reach, yet you could still see them from so far away, and he thought they were beautiful. Despite being named after a constellation, no, Orion didn't really think he was beautiful. Or special. But he was okay with that. He didn't think life should be a popularity contest. He thought you should just learn as much about others as you could.

"Hi Caz, yeah, they're pretty cool!"

Redlipstick had said it was a pleasure, but he could tell she was obviously uncomfortable, so he just flashed her a smile and saved her from any further suffering.

"Hey King," the husky pup greeted the familiar face. "Even if you don't know their names they're still nice to look at." He grinned, drawing his paws out from beneath him and rising to his feet. He didn't know all of their names either, but he hoped to learn them all someday.

"Hey, I'm Orionpup. Orion's fine though," he explained with a half-grin. He'd noticed how tightly she'd held her mouth earlier, then later the metal in her mouth was drawn to his attention. Was she self-conscious? Why did everyone want to "fix" the things that made them unique? He knew it was hard to help feeling insecure, but hated how everyone was driven to feel that way.
